Darlene was found as a stray by my grandma 16 years ago. After my grandma passed, I inherited Darlene and our adventure began in 2019! She’s changed multiple people’s opinions on cats (for the better) and has inspired some adoptions! She isn’t your typical cat, as she hasn’t been able to jump since my grandma got her with her electric wheelchair too many times. But who needs to jump when you have cat stairs in every room of your house! This elderly gal might not have much time left, so I thought it would be nice to honor her with an entry. Black cats aren’t everyone’s go to choice for a pet, but hopefully, she can change some more minds before her time is up!
