Hi! I’m Merle! I’m a sweet older gentleman with a few disabilities, but I get around alright! I was rescued by ACHS in 2021 off the streets of Chauncey. I’m a “foster fail” — my mom says I am too handsome to give away.

I think I would make the perfect spokesanimal for the Jackie O’s Underdog Rescue Brew because I truly am an Athens County underdog! My life before being rescued was far from the comfort I deserved as a retiree. Now my days are filled with naps in the sun, snuggles with mom and dad, and a little boy that is obsessed with me.

Plus I think I’d look pretty great on the label!
