Margo Magpie has a super sad origin story. When her mom was found by Rescued Ohio, they located her owner and let him know she had been rescued and was pregnant. The owner told RO to "just shoot her." Obviously, they refused to listen!

Margo is part Lab, part Great Pyrenees and, thankfully, currently towards the end of her terrible twos. She's better now, but is known for eating several pairs of shoes, a record-breaking 13 remotes, and, as seen here, a chapstick or 2.

If you live within a 5 mile radius of the Near East Side, you've definitely heard Margo. She diligently protects us from every squirrel, bird, tree branch, and gust of wind.

Margo is absolutely a gentle giant; at 100lbs, she's a BIG girl with a big bark, but is truly sweet as can be.
