We are huge animal lovers, and the best breed is Rescue! Our previous dog passed away in January 2024. My mom passed away June 2024. I was grieving beyond belief. 12 days later, I splurge rescued Maverick. He was a 2.5 month old Great Pyrenees mix. I think he realizes how spoiled he is, but I don’t think he realizes what he did for me emotionally and mentally! Everyday, he lays his big ol’ head on my chest and stares at me with his kind, loving eye. He makes even the worst days seem like the best. Everyone else needs a fraction of that type of love in their life (while they are drinking my your beer)!
