A little about me...
Maggie Belle came into our lives as a stray North Carolina dog with a life-threatening infection. We took her in, tried for weeks to find any owner who might be looking for her, and asked Underhound Railroad for help. They immediately welcomed her, and we became first her fosters and then “foster fails” as Maggie Belle won our hearts. Maggie Belle had previously had a litter of puppies, and using the Embark DNA test we were able to locate one of her daughters, who had also been found stray but was rescued and now lives in California! We chose the name Maggie Belle because we wanted something fitting for a pretty southern girl. 🥰
