Fearless, enthusiastic, and down for anything, Elmo was larger than life. Just 85 pounds of bones when we met, he blossomed into a muscular 119 pound boy who was known to make a few people cross the street upon seeing him. But when given a chance, his name disarmed them and he was quick to steal their hearts. He was loved by many, but none more than me. I love him as much today as I did the day we said goodbye.
