United Doberman Rescue & Canine Castaways of Minnesota (“UDR”) is a not for profit 501(c)3 organization based out of Minnesota. Our mission is to rescue abused, abandoned or homeless Dobermans in need, to promote responsible pet ownership, and educate to the public about this wonderful but sometimes misunderstood breed. We also help dogs of any breed when they find their way to us for help. UDR strives to assist locally in Minnesota and also in extended geographies where local groups may not have the necessary space or resources to help. We rely 100% on volunteers and donations from our generous public.
All UDR dogs awaiting adoption live in dedicated foster homes being loved as one of our own and receiving the best personalized care and training. In our adoption program, we strive to place each dog into a home that best suits each individual dog through foster and carefully screen all potential adopters through our application and home visit processes. All UDR dogs are fully vetted, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, microchipped and current on monthly preventatives prior to adoption.
