This is my boy, who just turned 10 in May and has been the light of my life every step of the way. His story began when I took in his stray mama, not knowing she was pregnant. When her babies were born, she trusted me so deeply that she would carry each tiny kitten to me and lay them by my side. We found loving homes for his siblings, but he wasn’t chosen right away — and in the end, he chose me. Since then, we’ve been inseparable. He’s traveled across the country with me — from Michigan to California to Georgia and back again — always adapting, always by my side. We share an unspoken bond that’s hard to put into words. He’s silly, soulful, affectionate, and endlessly patient. He’s not just my pet — he’s my heart, my home, and the purest love I’ve ever known.
