Rosie chose us at a UPAWS adoption event in Marquette in 2016. At that time, they estimated that she was around 10 months old. They didn't know for certain what her life had been up until that point, only that she had been adopted and returned because she was deemed "anti-social" by the people who returned her. We were told that she had likely been in and out of a few homes in her young life. She had been abused and was extremely wary of people. We gave her the space and time she needed to learn to trust us, and here we are, nearly 10 years later. Our precious blue-eyed girl is adored by her puppy brother, whom she grew up with, and her humans. We are forever grateful to UPAWS for approving our app on that sweltering August day in 2016.
