Your Pet's Story or Bio
Blanca came as a surprise gift for me in 2019. She was the most adorable and challenging puppy and has become a dear companion who loves to accompany us as we hike, bike, swim, and cross country ski. No day is complete without her morning “constitution” walk around our wooded property followed by breakfast and a toothbrushing. She often tries to trick us into feeding her twice, pretending as though she has not yet been fed.

She’s a good girl who will do anything for treats!

UPAWS is such an important organization to have in our community. They take care of so many stray, abandoned or surrendered pets. The work they do is invaluable.
UPAWS is careful when adopting animals to families to assure a good match. While my current dog is not an adoptee, I did adopt a dog many years ago who turned out to be a treasured family pet for 16 years.
