Your Pet's Story or Bio
Sully is a 6yr old Bernese Mountain Dog rescue who was placed with his forever family while they were living in Colorado. He spent 4 fun years exploring the Rocky Mountains before packing up and hitting the road with his family in their RV. They then settled in Marquette in late 2024. Having been on snowmobiles, planes, boats, bikes, golf carts and more, Sully has traveled and adventured far beyond what many humans will in a lifetime. He nearly lost his life last December to kidney disease which he has been winning the battle with up until recently. The morning we are writing this he has been diagnosed with lung cancer. We're not sure how much longer this gentle giant will grace our presence so we thought honoring him on the cover of the UPAWS calendar would be a valiant start. Sully bear is as sweet as they come!

Why support UPAWS and why vote for my pet!
We support UPAWS because it is a fantastic resource for the community and its furry friends! Among the many important services they provide, Sully has a love/hate relationship most of all with the donation based self-service bath/grooming room they offer. He's never been much for baths but when he's all clean and done with one he's as proud as can be! Having traveled well over 30,000 miles around the U.S., Sully's love for adventure and the outdoors truly embodies the spirit of the UP. His favorite place is his grandpa's house on Mackinac Island just a short walk to the lake with views of the Mackinac Bridge. Voting for Sully for this years calendar will not only raise money for UPAWS but will help us commemorate the beautiful life we've had together, filled with love and excitement <3
