Jorge was hiding under a cart when Mary Lou picked him up and decided he was the one.
He still hides when someone comes over otherwise Jorge is very talkative and likes his ears scratched and belly rubs. Jorge likes to give head rubs and letting me know when he wants a treat, he can be very vocal and ranges from I want it now to please I just need a snack I can barely yeow I’m so weak.

When I was a kid distemper was rampant, I lost the first couple of dogs to this and they had to be put down. Now with this shelter and veterinarians animals of all sorts have a chance at a permanent home, love, and excellent care. Jorge is an example of a cat who is living his best life because a few people cared enough to build and support the shelter. A vote for Jorge is supporting the futures of your next best friend 🐈
