Ginger was bought at an auction when she was 3 years old. She was being sold for horse meat due to being un-rideable. Years later, with patient and persistent training, her kind and gentle nature was able to shine through. Ginger excels with being the first ride for young children and a calm teacher for inexperienced riders. She has been a therapy horse for traumatized teens and depressed veterans. When you approach her, and she turns with a greeting, you know your therapist is in.
