Your Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Hanna in August of 2017 from UPAWS on a whim while in Marquette after shopping. It was a connection immediately with my husband Greg. Hanna was the only dog in the shelter that just sat there looking up at Greg. No barking. No jumping. Unlike the other dogs available. We took her for a test walk with our other dog Jill. While it wasn’t love at first acquaintance, they tolerated each other. It was a go. Hanna came home with us . It didn’t take long and the were best buds. While Jill has crossed over the rainbow bridge, Hanna is an only child now. Her favorite thing is to escort kayakers that go down the Escanaba River in front of our house.

Why support UPAWS and why vote for my pet!
Without UPAWS we would not have Hanna. This organization is awesome. Maybe someday Hanna will have a companion from UPAWS. We are always looking for
