Your Pet's Story or Bio
Link made his own way into our home one January night in 2021, a year after our last cat’s passing. The unnamed kitty found an entryway into our basement and walked himself upstairs into our mud room. My husband and I thought we heard meows while cooking in the kitchen adjacent. When I opened the door there he was, eyes wide and meowing up a storm. He walked into our house, unbothered by our curious 3 year old Lab, and ultimately made himself at home. Link is the most gentle soul, incredibly soft and a very smart kitty. We named him Link because I was playing a lot of Zelda that winter and I imagined him as the main character: A furry Knight of Houghton who fought his way through the wintery outdoors, discovered a way into our home and ultimately won the biggest prize: His forever family.
