I had been considering adopting a dog when my son went away to college. I knew that somehow some way, the right match would come along. Kathy Shambo came to my school weekly through the Listening Ears reading program. One day, she introduced me to a charming Jack Russell mix that she was fostering because he had been returned to the SPCA more than once. I asked her his name. She replied, "Buck." My deceased father's nickname was Buck. I had found my match! We are so grateful to the people that returned Buck and of course to Kathy for fostering him so that he could find his "forever home" with us. Talk about a match made in heaven!
