Penguin was found by employees at a shoe store, in a dumpster behind a strip mall in NJ. We asked what they were going to do with him & the kids said they'd put him back outside if nobody adopted him...so I brought him home! The vet estimated him to be approx 4 weeks old. He was sick, covered in fleas, had ringworm... Just a sweet little mess! Fifteen years later he is still our special baby, even if he is an old man kitty! He loves being brushed and getting belly rubs. He sits by the window and "talks" to the birds and squirrels. Actually, he talks to his people all the time! He follows me around like a puppy and cries all night when the kids are gone. We always joke that he hasn't got any idea he's really a cat! Penguin is the best cat ever!
