Oakley was our foster puppy who fell terribly ill. As her days away from us grew longer our hearts grew larger with love for her. She overcame the odds and pulled through we then elected to be her forever family. Oakley suffers from anxiety, and is overcoming fear that others will steal her food and slowly gaining weight. These, and other issues are likely a result of her previous treatment. Oakley enjoys daily fresh vegetables from our garden, snuggles from the kids, and is learning to appreciate playing "dress up." One of her most entertaining personality traits is her cat-like demeanor when she rolls on her back pawing the air or when she chases the broom around pouncing at it. She is a heart stealer with sweet love and kisses for anyone who displays affection towards her. There are no words to express how truly special Oakley is.
