Sassy was a sixth month old Calico kitten when we met. She was a Halloween special at Pet Smart as part of the Virginia Beach Animal Care and Adoption program because she had the color, orange, in her coat. She had been fostered and her foster Mom was volunteering at the Pet Smart that day. It was live at first sight when I saw and held Sassy for the first time. I wasn't sure I could handle a kitten because I live alone. I was worried about Sassy's nails and my furniture because my cat that had died was declawed. Sassy's foster mom coached me. I made a few adjustments with the furniture and git Sassy two trees. She was such a quick learner. She talks to me all the time to tell me what she wants...treats, canned food, to play, etc. She is the best!
