Ginny was rescued in August 2016 by an organization called PetConnect Rescue (PCR). She weighed 44 lbs. at that time, had Lyme disease, and had a mass on her stomach. She originally came from a puppy mill, and after she was no longer able to have puppies, she was given away to somebody who treated her even worse. On top of her being kept outside year round with little or no medical care, she was being starved. When my Husband and I adopted Ginny in December 2016, she weighed 77 lbs., and this picture was of her first Christmas. I'm a former volunteer at VBSPCA, and my two dogs that passed away in 2007 and 2010 both with cancer, and I have plaques in their honor in your memorial garden. Houston & Petie meant the world to me, but they say that the best way to honor a lost pet is to adopt another.
