I became his mommy when he was only 8 weeks old because he was given to my son but on his first vet visit we discovered he had a heart defect that would eventually need heart surgery and extra medical care that he couldn't afford. When Jaws was 6 mos old I took him to NC State for heart surgery, they did an amazing job there and although he's been on heart medication ever since and sees a cardiologist from time to time you would never know. He's full of energy and loves to play. He's the smartest dog I've ever had! He learns tricks and commands immediately. I talk to him like a person and tell to do things like go downstairs and do something and he does it. It's crazy! He's amazing!! I love him so much, he is my baby!
