Lily (brown) was adopted in 2013 at 10 months old from the Capital Area Humane Society in Columbus, OH after going through an unthinkable situation with her previous owner. She was fortunately turned over to the humane society and had to undergo several surgeries and is now a happy, thriving girl. Penny (black) was adopted in 2011 from VBSPCA at 6 months old. Penny definitely chose me as I was walking through looking at the dogs. We went outside for a bit and played catch and I knew she was the perfect dog for me. She hasn't left my side since that day! We love our rescue dogs and feel very fortunate to have them in our lives.
