Shadow was owned by an elderly couple. He had taken to chasing cars, and ultimately, was hit by one. He recovered. The husband had cancer and died leaving the wife to care for two small dogs. It became too much. My friends, Bonnie and Donald offered to care for Shadow. Now, he runs with their four other dogs on their fifteen acres chasing each other. As you can see in the after grooming photo, he is a happy happy dog loved by his new mommie, daddy and four brothers. Bonnie and Donald send the previous owner pictures of Shadow running and playing with his brothers. Those pictures of Shadow make her day knowing he is enjoying his new life.
