A little about me...
Benji came into my life 4 years ago. He is my very best friend and loyal companion, but his story almost didn’t have a happy tail ending. Benji had severe barrier frustration which appeared aggressive to those who didn't know him. Being in a kennel can make this behavior worse, which makes the shelter environment extremely difficult for some dogs. For many animals, this is where their story ends. But Benji found himself at the VBSPCA, and I happened to notice him while he was playing outside. I decided to go out and throw him the ball, and we had an absolute blast. The rest of the day he laid calmly in his kennel without any signs of aggression or frustration, and the rest is history. Benji got his second chance and became a loved member of the Swims family. Please help Benji help so many others just like him.
