A little about me...
Meeko came into the VBSPCA with a paw injury after being found living in a truck engine. Once at the shelter, we realized the extent of Meeko's injury and our vets determined that his leg needed to be amputated. Healing from an amputation can be rough in the shelter environment, so Meeko needed a foster to help him recover smoothly.

He was able to get the surgery quickly after arriving, so we last minute scrambled to find a foster. I was the staff member (or sucker) who ended up taking him at the end of the day, and I'm so happy that I did. After many days of pain meds, laser therapy, & coming to work with me everyday, Meeko soon learned that he wasn't coming back to the shelter. I also learned that things happen when you least expect it, and sometimes it's finding your soul cat.
