A little about me...
It was love at first sight when I met him at the shelter at three months old – and since my favorite food is sushi, what better name for my new best friend?

Sushi is no ordinary cat. He struts in harnesses like a runway model, rocks outfits that would make Vogue jealous, and is a proud fashionista with a passion for “purr-litical” involvement (yes, he’s an avid voter in his community). He’s also a seasoned state-wide traveler, making the trip to and from college with mom.

This year was extra special – Sushi graduated from UVA alongside his mom, proudly sporting his tiny cap at graduation photos (and stealing the show)

With the fluff of a teddy bear and the sweetness to match, Sushi is equally happy supervising from a high perch or curling up beside me. From shelter kitten to adventurous sidekick, he’s proof adoption changes lives.
