Pet's Story or Bio
Born in a back alley on the north side of Oil City, Whiskey, struggled for the first few months of her life. Many of her brothers, sisters, and other cats were mauled by a neighborhood dog that loved to kill cats for sport. Other cats, like Whiskey, were starving. Then Whiskey noticed this family of humans who started hanging around because they were taking care of the elderly man next door. Although timid like most of the other cats, Whiskey approached one of these humans cautiously. This human had a condition called arachnoiditis which was compounded by a heart conition. Her low cry for food would not go unheard. The human began feeding Whiskey and they soon became friends. Little did the human know, this cat would repay the favor many times over. Whiskey and the human bonded. Every night Whiskey would climb up in his bed not only to sleep, but also to monitor her human. If the human stops breathing because of his health condition, Whiskey immediately starts putting him on the face until he awakens. You see, Whiskey is more than just a cat, she is a my hero and my best friend!
