Originally from the Northwest Territories, we believe she spent her early years as a sled dog, living outdoors in a yard without the warmth of a home. When we welcomed her into our lives at 12 years old, she had never been house-trained and was just beginning to learn what it meant to be part of a family.

Since then, she’s blossomed into the most loving companion. Blueberry greets every day with joy—whether she’s trotting happily on walks, tackling a puzzle with determination, snuggling up for cuddles, or offering kisses to every child she meets. She soaks up the excitement of daily life with an enthusiasm that’s contagious.

At her age, many would expect her to slow down—but Blueberry is proof that love, patience, and second chances can transform a life. She’s a reminder that senior dogs have so much love to give and so many memories still to make.
