Why everyone should vote for my animal
Kita was the hound of hounds, dying in January 2025 shortly after her third birthday after being struck by a vehicle. A true Islander, she loved the forests of Oyster Bed and a swim in the creek; the beach; and accosting every squirrel that crossed her path. There was no dog more empathetic, who farted more loudly, or who was a better friend to have.
