Eleonora is a rescued Galga from Spain. Galgos are some of the most badly mistreated dogs in the world. Bred indiscriminately for hunting, they are typically discarded or killed after they are no longer useful. Many of the methods used are barbaric and cruel. There are thousands and thousands in desperate need of homes. They make wonderful pets that are smart, gentle and endlessly amusing. And who could resist that smile?!
