I met Brix while volunteering with Vindicated Pits as part of a foster-dog-day-out program. His handsome smile and kind nature were immediately felt and we became fast friends and hiking buddies over the next couple months. Outings were never dull and always filled with laughter and smiles with Brix. Our time together came to an end when Brix moved to a foster home further away but he was never far from my thoughts. Brix will forever hold a special place in my heart.
