Rules
- Entry fees are a suggested minimum donation of $10.00 per photo. Entry period from October 15th, 2017 9:00 a.m. PST, ending October 31, 2017 9:00 p.m. PST. Voting period from October 15th, 2017 9:00 a.m. PST to November 15th, 2017 at 9:00 pm PST.
- An individual may submit more than one photo; however each entry must be of a different pet, person or group.
- If different photos are received of the same pet, person or group, only one photo will be considered.
- Photos submitted must be VIP members; however, voting is open to everyone.
- Donations made in support of a person are valued at one vote for every $1.00 donated, voting to be in blocks of (5) at $5.00 per block.
- The thirteen (13) photos (12 months and one cover) with the most votes on November 15th, 2017 at 9:00 pm PST will win the chance to be featured in the 2018 "VIP Pets and Paddlers" calendar.
- By entering the contest, you will also acknowledge and give permission to VIP to use the name, story and photo of the pet, person(s) or group entered in future various publications and materials, including the 2018 "VIP Pets and Paddlers" Calendar.
- VIP reserves the right to disqualify an entry based on objectionable content or depiction of the pet, person(s) or group in a photo. The registration fee will be not be refunded. Donations collected will be refunded if requested by the donor.
- All entries require the photo, along with your name and the names of the subject(s). You may also include your VIP crew name if desired. Include a brief paragraph containing something meaningful, fun, and/or interesting about the pet, person or group.
- By participating in the contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless VIP and each of its officers, directors, representatives, volunteers, and agents from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the contest or receipt or use of any prize.
- VIP reserves the right to modify or clarify any of the contest rules during the term of the contest without advance notice. Questions? Contact: Karen Lutz tembodesign@shaw.ca

IMAGE REQUIREMENTS
- Photos must be high quality, taken at maximum resolution, 300 DPI, minimum 4-megapixels and in a generally accepted file format. (Please note: some phone photos will not meet these standards.)
- Pet or individual person or group photos submitted for the calendar; the subject (pet/person/group) should be present in no less than 1/2 of the frame. Landscape format is preferred.
- Please ensure that the photo is sharp and in focus with a clean background.
- Paddle scene photos are allowed (IE out on water).
VOTING
- Voting begins October 15th, 2017 9:00 a.m. PST and ends November 15th, 2017 at 9:00 PM PST.
- When commenced, each vote is $1, with a donation minimum of $5. There is no limit to the number of votes one may cast, but you must cast a minimum of 5 votes at a time for a minimum charge of $5.
- You may vote for your own photo, and you may spread your votes across multiple photos.
PRIZES
- Prizes will be awarded based on electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of GoGo Photo Contest, whose decisions are final and binding. Please note that due to the limitations of Contest's computer tabulating system, there can be up to a 15-minute delay between when a donation is received/recorded and when it is reflected in the leaderboard. All votes received by November 15th, 2017 at 9:00 p.m. PST will be honored. The leaderboard results are official.
- The photo with the most votes will have the option of being on the cover; OR their choice of month in the "VIP Pets and Paddlers 2018" Calendar, and will also receive 2 complimentary 2018 calendars.
- The top 2 through 13 photos will appear in our 2018 calendar. In the order of number of votes; winners will have their choice of month they wish to be featured, and will also receive one complimentary 2018 calendar.
MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION
- On your public photo Contest page, there is a "share" button that allows you to share your entry through Facebook and other networking sites.
- You can email links to your family, colleagues, friends, and frenimies to encourage voting for your photo.
