Pet's Story or Bio
I had visited a friends home in Ohio one November evening right before Thanksgiving. On her back porch in a metal cage is where I saw Zoey for the first time. Weighing 4lbs Zoey was the CUTEST thing I had ever seen. I couldn't figure out why she was left on the cold porch in that cage with no blanket. I carried her around with me all evening. When it was time for me to home I dreadfully returned her to her cage. I removed my sweater and placed it in there with her. I could hear her tiny cries as I walked down the driveway. I cried the entire way home. My boyfriend at the time noticed my puffy eyes upon my return, and I cried to him about Zoey.
A few days later my boyfriend and I returned to my friends home and noticed Zoey wasn't in the cage. I felt relieved thinking they must have let her in the house.
She was in the house all right. But on a leash tied to a door knob in the kitchen. She had been in the garbage as it was on the floor next to her, and there were tiny piles of poop all around her. I started crying. My boyfriend picked her up and handed her to me. Told me to go get in the car. A few minutes later him and my friend came outside and he asked for his wallet. He paid $90.00 for my Zoey.
She has brought me nothing but joy for almost 13 years now.
