Eight years ago, I went to the city kennel looking for the next member of our family. I was looking into the cages trying to decide which doggy would be the very best fit for my kids. Suddenly, I felt a "punch" on my back. I turned around, and this large, fluffy, silly puppy was sitting there, smiling at me. One of the workers had just brought her back inside from her afternoon walk. I turned away, distracted by a mean boxer sitting in the cage in front of me, growling at my kids. Then I heard my kids start laughing. I turned back around, and this big puppy was giving them sooo much LOVE! She showered my kids with kisses. My kids immediately wrapped their arms around her neck and BEGGED me to adopt her... so, I did.
It was the BEST decision I have EVER made in my entire life.
We've had her for 8 years now, and she has NEVER even growled at me or my children. She is so loving, so caring, and so sweet. She mothers ANY animal or child that we bring into the house.
A lot of people say that I rescued her... but, the truth is, she rescued me.
Frisky has helped me through the hardest times of my life.... There were times when I just COULDN'T go on because of grief and depression... and she always picked me right back up with her kisses and her love.
I honestly do not where, or who, I'd be without my Frisky girl.
She is my guardian angel.
