I've had Cash since he was just 8 weeks old. Cash was born into a large litter and horrible living conditions. When I found him, he was covered in scratches, cuts and fleas. His littermates had begun to fight for the alpha role in their pack, and Cash took to hiding under some outdoor steps to avoid confrontation. It was love at first sight, and he has been my very best friend since. Cash has the sweetest, most loyal, and most loving temperament of any animal I've known. He's irreplaceable. We now have a beautiful family consisting of me, my husband, our two young girls, and Cash. He continues to exceed my expectations everyday. During a stormy night in the summer of 2014, Cash woke me up, barking like crazy. Right as I was prepared to yell at him for being so noisy, I noticed a very young kitten outside the window, soaken wet, scared, and hungry. She immediately became the 6th member of our family. While we all adored her and she loved us, the relationship between her and Cash was remarkable. Because she had been without a mother at such a young age, she looked to Cash as a mother figure. She even tried rooting on him, haha. The love was mutual, and one year later, the two are still cuddling and grooming each other daily. The love and wonderful memories these animals have given us are a beautiful gift.
