Rules

Entries:

This contest is ONLY open to dogs who have already been photographed for a spread in the upcoming Pups of Plymouth coffee table book.
People are not allowed in photos, only your dog.
All proceeds from this contest will be donated to the Friends of the Plymouth Center for Active Living.
You may enter by uploading a purchased photo of your choosing from your session with Katie Carmickle OR a photo that you have taken personally. Please do not send copyrighted photos or photos taken by other professional photographers.
Any photograph that includes content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent, or obscene, as determined by Katie Carmickle Photography in its sole discretion, will be removed from the contest.
By submitting a photo entry, you warrant and represent that your entry is either taken by Katie Carmickle or your own original work created by you and that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your entry materials. If you submit an entry that is copyrighted by another individual, you are responsible for any legal action the copyright holder takes against you.
By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Friends of the Plymouth Center for Active Living and Katie Carmickle Photography and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.

Voting:

All proceeds from votes will be donated to the Friends of the Plymouth Center for Active Living.
Each $1 counts as one (1) vote.
All donations from voting are non-refundable.
You many vote here online via the contest page beginning October 21 or in person at the Plymouth Center for Active Living during gift shop hours beginning October 31. In-person votes will be collected and added to the online tally weekly.
Contest payments online are through a secure site.
Contest votes are tax deductible. The email acknowledgment to your online donation serves as your tax receipt. If voting in person and wanting to claim the deduction, please request a tax form at the time of your purchase.
All winners will be determined by electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of Go Go Photo Contest, whose decisions are final and binding.
The Voting Period starts at 9:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Monday, October 21, 2024 and ends at 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Thursday, November 21, 2024.

Cover Image Selections:

The dog with the most votes (the winning dog) will be featured on the front cover of the upcoming Pups of Plymouth coffee table book. The photographer, Katie Carmickle, will choose the best image of that winning dog for the cover of Pups of Plymouth from her photo session.
The dog with the second-most votes (the runner-up) will be featured on the back cover of the upcoming Pups of Plymouth coffee table book. The photographer, Katie Carmickle, will choose the best image of that runner-up for the back cover photo from her photo session.
