Our Story
I received my Wish in 2003, when I was 9 years old after being diagnosed with a rare thyroid cancer, MEN 2B. I received treatment in Burlington and Boston through the years. I have had a few surgeries since my wish, but I've lucky to receive the love and support of my family through everything. My wish was to meet my favorite Red Sox player, Trot Nixon. My family was given an all-expense paid trip to Boston to meet him before a game. Most memorable was when he ended up chatting with star-struck me far longer than originally planned. I meet him again at a Lake Monsters game at age 21 and was still star-struck as ever.

It will always be the best memory for myself and my family, knowing the so many people came together to make my wish come true.

We have had Roxy for 5 1/2 years and she is the best dog that someone can ask for. She loves to go hiking, camping, rides in the car and is my constant companion. She is a continual bright light in the lives of my family and me. While she is getting a little older, she is still willing to conquer anything with me.
