How has your dog change your life? Does your dog have a bio or a story?
My previous dog, a toy poodle, passed in February 2020, a few weeks before we were in Covid lockdown. I was heartbroken and lonely, and it took me almost 5 years to be ready to be a dog mom again. When I saw Jasmine on the Waldo's list, I fell in love with her. I met up with her foster mom and she was so excited and friendly to me that I adopted her on the spot. She was very underweight and the first couple of weeks, I was a bit overwhelmed because I never had a bull mix before and wasn't sure I would be able to handle her, but she is an absolute sweetheart. So gentle, has a funny personality and full of life and curiosity. Now, all I think about is rushing home from work to be with her. I feel like she saved me more than me saving her.
