Latke has transformed our life! Our world revolves around her and we’re pretty certain she feels that’s the way it’s supposed to be. When we adopted her, she was called Sweetango and since we took her home on the first day of Hannukah we named her Latke. We later recieved a beautiful letter and a hand knitted hannukah sweater she used to wear with her name on it, now a few sizes too small, from her first foster home telling us she went by Latke originally! So without knowing it we renamed her with her original name. The whole things felt so serendipitous. She is the best spirit, she loves cuddling and being spooned and just loves welcoming friends into the home and being an amazing family member with a zest for every minute of life and connection.
