How has your dog change your life? Does your dog have a bio or a story?
Growing up I always had bad luck with dogs. Living in the South, most people had “outside” dogs and my family was no exception. We had a couple that disappeared when I was young and I really just thought I would never have any luck with pets. However, once I got older I started to gravitate towards dogs more. We decided to start fostering, to get a feel for what it would be like to care for an animal. Spoiler Alert - We didn’t get very far. Odie was our first foster and we immediately fell in love with his lazy ear and little trot when he walks. He has now been in our family for 3 1/2 years and we can’t imagine life without him! We don’t know much about his past life but I know that we were meant to find each other. He is my best friend, and I never knew I could love a dog so much. I’m a better person and happier because he is part of my family. I understand now that saying “who rescued who?”
