Pet's Story
Dave was a feral/stray cat who showed up on my porch one day. I tried ignoring him but after a few days he didn't leave and was looking thin so I started feeding him. It took about a month before I could touch him but he would immediately purr before running off when I could get a gentle touch snuck in while he ate. That was four years ago! He is now a loving gentle giant. He has allowed two kittens to "maul" him and never once got seriously ugly with their shenanigans he even plays with the neighbors small dog. He is the sweetest most patient cat I have ever known. He is still very scared of strangers and only allows me to touch him. But he sleeps with me, loves to be brushed, kissed on the forehead and begs for treats. He is a blessing.
