Wareham Dog Park Calendar Contest

We all love to show off our favorite photos of our pets. Here is your chance to enter your best photos and share your pet’s story! Send the links to everyone you know so they can vote for your pet to be highlighted in a month's photo.

The top Fan Favorite will win the coveted Calendar Cover spot every year, showcasing your pet alongside the other top pets from previous years. Your pet will be highlighted for years to come! Plus, you will have the exciting opportunity to choose the specific month in which your pet's photo will be showcased.

12 favorite Pin-Ups will be prominently showcased on each of the 12 months (DPAW Reserves the right to select the month allocated to the remaining winners)! All top 12 fan favorites will receive a free 2025 calendar! (First place receives 2 calendars).

Even if you don't win one of the top 12 spots, all photos will be posted on a date throughout the calendar!

This contest is open to anyone. Your photo entry does not have to be of just dogs. We love all pets and welcome entries from all.

Prizes

1^st Place:

The photo receiving the most votes will be awarded the coveted Calendar Cover spot every year, showcasing your pet alongside the other top pets from previous years. The top place will also receive 2 free calendars. Plus, you will have the exciting opportunity to choose the specific month in which your pet's photo will be showcased!

2^nd-12^th Place:

Each of these winners will appear as a photo on one of the twelve months and a free calendar. DPAW reserves the right to select which photo appears in a specific month. Photos will be displayed as large as possible on the page; poorer quality photographs may be replaced by a better-quality photo of the same dog at the discretion of DPAW.

Everyone:

Every photo that is entered to the contest (that meets the requirements) will be included in the calendar.

Rules

Submit your photo with a minimum $10 tax deductible donation for each photo entry. You may enter as many times as you like.
Submit a photo of your pet(s). Include your pet's name(s), your name and address (address will not be displayed only city and State), and an introduction telling us a little something about your pet. Please limit intro to 50 words or less. If your pet ends in 1^st-12th place, DPAW reserves the right to edit text for use in calendar.
All submissions must be of good digital quality to retain detail when enlarged. Entry photo must be animal only – no people. Multiple pets can appear in the picture. For best results, please ensure that your pet occupies a central place in the photo so your pet remains the focus, even if the dimensions of the photo change to fit into a small calendar square — 300 dpi or higher in PNG or JPG format — and no greater than 5MB.
Any photo submission that does not comply with the above rules, or is deemed of inappropriate or inhumane content, will be disqualified by DPAW Calendar coordinator.
All winners will be determined by electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of GoGo Photo Contest, whose decisions are final and binding. Voting requires a minimum donation of $5 ($1/vote).
All photos become the property of the Dog Park Affiliation of Wareham and may be used as needed at their discretion.
By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless DPAW and the contest Sponsors and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
The Contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

About Us

The Dog Park Affiliation of Wareham (DPAW) is a non-profit that coordinates with the Town of Wareham to maintain Wareham Dog Park. The park sits on almost 7 areas surrounded by woods & bogs at 74 Maple Springs Road & is open daily year round from dawn to dusk. The off leash park & on leash trail provide social & recreational opportunities for people & their dogs. The Calendar Contest is DPAW’s only fund raiser with proceeds directly supporting daily park maintenance. DPAW also hosts 3 free annual community events; Birthday PAWty, Unleash the PAWsibiliites Youth Creative Arts Contest & Remembrance Day.
