Pet's Story or Bio
I got Gunther during the covid pandemic since I am an ICU nurse and I wanted a buddy to walk with after my long 12 hour shifts. Gunther immediately caught my eye. I drove 3 hours to go get this beautiful boy and it’s easily the best decision I’ve ever made. He adores people and I’m currently looking into the process of making him a therapy dog. He’s very calm sleeping most of the time but I can occasionally get him to play for 10 minutes or so if I really rile him up. His favorite pastime is watching squirrels and deer from my front window. He even saved my life. The pandemic hit me hard at my hospital and I was hitting arguably the lowest point in my life but I knew I had a responsibility to take care of my little man. He helped me stick to a schedule, get out of bed every day, and take two bath Ali’s twice a day every day. It gave me the structure and the feeling of being needed and I will pamper and cherish this boy forever.
