Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Licorice in 2008, along with another cat, Ani. Licorice had spent the first 2 and 1/2 years in the shelter and was quite scared when we brought him home. In fact, he spent the first two weeks hiding either behind a screen or under a chair and meowling very loudly. But once he got accustomed to his new digs, Licorice never looked back. He loves other cats. He loves humans. And he loves to lay on puzzles as we are working on them (as in this picture!). (He's an ornery one!) He really just had the most kind and loving personality of any cat I've ever known. Thanks, WCHS, for taking care of our boy until we could meet and adopt him!
