Biography
It's true what they say - greyhounds are the 45 mph couch potato, and Bruce is no exception. He's a lovable giant who just wants to lean up against your leg and enjoy a good petting. He sleeps 18 hours a day but don't let that fool you. As soon as his parents come home, it's go-time! He lunges for his favorite toy, Mr. Monkey, and flings him around the room to watch him fly. Then it's off to the tracks as he channels his inner racer and does exactly 45 seconds of running laps around the house. Whew! He's exhausted. But not too exhausted for a walk in the park. Watching squirrels, sniffing friendly dog butts, and peeing on every vertical object he passes...it's his favorite time of the day! Dinner time comes in a close second...or breakfast time...or snack time with his favorite peanut butter bone. Bruce may not be the best guard dog, but he's the best four-legged member of our family.
