After losing my 12 year old Boxer (Gabby), 11 month old Weimaraner (Miles), two cats, and a lizard to a house fire last winter, I struggled hard with grief. I found out the reputable breeder from whom I had gotten Miles had another litter from the same mother this summer. It would be the last chance to get a relative of his. We had attempted to rescue a Weim prior to getting Miles, but had been turned down due to having small kids and cats and them being a hunting breed. She only breeds one litter per year and does all of the appropriate testing. So we felt confident with our decision to adopt from a breeder.

As we had grieved the loss of our pets, our Ronin has become our "rainbow" puppy to heal the pain after the storm of loss. I'm a photographer and had the idea of this set up and to my surprise, he was very easy to work with and make it happen.

Tell us about your pets funny quirks, habits and personality!
Ronin is very outgoing and curious. He "grumbles" a lot and likes to communicate. He is the best snuggler with his best friend who is a kitten his same age.
