We were blessed with Lily right after we lost our beloved Misty Blue (long haired dachshund) to illness. Lily was a "free puppy". We were not familiar with the Weimeraner breed. My husband had recently retired from the Army and was looking for a running partner. His wish was more than granted! Lily wakes him up at 6:30 am every morning. No excuses! Chop! Chop! 1 mile, 3 miles, or 5+ miles! Let's go! She's athletic, loyal, loving and playful. We couldn't have asked for a better fit for our family.

Tell us about your pets funny quirks, habits and personality!
Lily is by far the largest of our pets. Her best friend is our ChiWeinnie, Rosey. Lily gets down on her belly and does a low crawl in order to be down where Rosey is. She drags her back legs and looks like a frog doing it. Our kids nicknamed her "Toad" because of it.
