Jazzy Dog was rescued from a puppy mill in Manchester CT, and has been my best friend for 9.5 years. She goes with me everywhere every day! That's right, Jazzy is a service dog!!! With intensive training, she learned to detect changes in my body that indicate that my blood pressure is getting low and that I am about to faint. My sweet Jazzy lets me know by nudging me with her head or putting a paw on my lap. If I do lose consciousness, I can count on Jazzy Dog to sound the alarm, and when I am ready, to help me stand back up. Jazzy Dog took me through graduate school and into the real world with leaps and bounds and floppy ears. While we have not always been accepted everywhere, we make our way in the world together. The way it should be.

Tell us about your pets funny quirks, habits and personality!
HELLO MY NAME IS JAZZY DOG AND I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS. Most of my feelings are about being as physically close to mom as possible. Woe betide the fool who tries to hold me on a leash while mommy walks away! My feelings can be heard for miles around. Lucky for me, I get to go almost everywhere with my mom, even to graduate school! I get worried when she doesn't feel good, and I tell her with snuggles and touches to go lay down. I like napping directly under my moms feet, no matter how inconvenient that is for anyone else. When mom is feeling really silly, we play dress up. But not for long, because I have a job to do. I will say, I do NOT like thunderstorms. They make me need to poop.
