Rex is a large Weimaraner that was rescued by Burke County Friends 4 Animals in Morganton North Carolina. He was found stray, about 30 lbs (he is now a very healthy 75) , covered in cuts and was heart-worm positive. The amazing thing about this animal shelter is that they treat all of their dogs, get them healthy again, and then every few months they travel north so their dogs are adopted in the New England states. That's how Rex came to us. We are so grateful. He is a wonderful dog who loves living in Vermont and enjoys exploring the outdoors daily.

Rex is a goofball! He decides where he wants to go on his daily runs or hikes and will pick the route! He is a lover of all fruits and vegetables too!
