Ernie is a tripod. I adopted him from a no kill shelter in North Carolina over Labor Day weekend 2010. I kept his name because it is just so fun to say.. .go ahead say it...Errneee! now wasn't that fun? He's so good with the neighborhood kids & my 2 cats. He loves to go for a walk or should I say "go for a hop" because he's missing his back left leg. He loves car rides & ice cream. He is a snuggler & will nudge your hand if you stop massaging his head! Spolied?.. Is an understatement. He's the sweetest boy I wish y'all could meet him. He actually won a cutest pet contest here in Wilson, NC for a pet calendar in 2010 and was awarded "Mr. December". He got his picture taken wearing a bowtie. He is very camera shy so it is lucky I got the photo I'm submitting for this contest.

Tell us about your pets funny quirks, habits and personality!
We taught him a trick that when we point our finger at him and say "bang" he falls to the floor but them quickly gets up for his treat. He loves my mom (we call her Nanny) & when I say "Nanny's coming over" his ears perk up and he gets so excited he starts running around the house & waits at the front door for her.
